Nev. Admin. Code § 641C.035 - "Detoxification" defined
"Detoxification" means the monitoring of a person who is at risk of suffering from the adverse physiological or psychological effects of withdrawal from alcohol or another drug to bring the person safely to a state that is free of the drug.
