Nev. Admin. Code § 644A.280 - Examination for licensure as cosmetologist

An examination for licensure as a cosmetologist will include, but is not limited to, a test on:

1. Infection control and prevention;
2. The provisions of this chapter and chapter 644A of NRS;
3. Setup and client protection;
4. Thermal curling;
5. Haircutting;
6. Chemical waving;
7. Hair color;
8. Hair relaxer;
9. Basic facials;
10. Sculptured nails; and
11. Procedures to follow in the event of exposure to blood.
