Nev. Admin. Code § 644A.638 - Curriculum for provisional instructors and student instructors
1. The following subjects constitute the
curriculum for provisional instructors and student
instructors:
(a) Teaching methods and
techniques.
(b) Developing
measurable objectives for performance.
(c) Lesson planning.
(d) Use of teaching aids.
(e) Use of questioning and problem-solving
strategies.
(f) Classroom
management.
(g) The provisions of
this chapter and chapter 644A of NRS.
2. A school of cosmetology shall organize its
curriculum to enable:
(a) A provisional
instructor to complete at least 350 hours of the 500 hours of training that are
required for licensure as an instructor pursuant to
NRS
644A.420 in the subject of teaching methods
and techniques.
(b) A student
instructor to complete at least 490 hours of the 700 hours of training that are
required for licensure as an instructor pursuant to
NRS
644A.420 in the subject of teaching methods
and techniques.
