Nev. Admin. Code § 656.280 - Standards of practice
1. Each firm must
have at least one owner who is a court reporter or a designated representative
of the court reporting firm to whom a certificate of completion has been issued
pursuant to NAC
656.265.
2. Each firm must provide the service of
court reporting by court reporters only.
3. If a court reporter whose certificate is
suspended or revoked provides service as a court reporter for a firm in which
he or she is a shareholder, the income attributable to the court reporter must
not be paid or otherwise accounted to the court reporter.
4. Each firm shall place the license number
the firm received from the Board and the name of the firm on:
(a) Any correspondence soliciting a court
reporter or other firm to provide court reporting services for the
firm;
(b) All invoices sent to a
client for services rendered relating to court reporting;
(c) The cover page of all transcripts of a
proceeding; and
(d) All paid and
unpaid advertisements relating to court reporting in this State.
