Nev. Admin. Code § 704.802 - Definitions
As used in NAC 704.800 to 704.876, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:
1.
"Eligible customer" means a person who:
(a)
Owns or occupies a residential building or a dwelling unit therein, except that
the owner of the common areas in a residential building containing five or more
dwelling units is not an eligible customer for the purposes of the common
areas; and
(b) Receives a bill from
a utility for electricity or fuel used in such a building.
2. "Inspection" means an inspection conducted
pursuant to NAC 704.814.
3.
"Residential building" means any building used for residential occupancy which
has a system for heating or cooling, or both, and contains one or more dwelling
units, except that the term does not include a building which contains more
than four dwelling units if it has a central heating or cooling
system.
4. "R-value" means the
reciprocal of the thermal transmission in a unit of time through a unit of area
in a particular body or assembly having defined surfaces when the unit average
temperature difference is established between the surfaces.
