N.H. Admin. Code § Vet 305.01 - Definitions
(a) "Direct supervision" means that there is
a licensed veterinarian on the premises of the animal treatment facility or in
a physically related structure who is available for in-person consultation on
an immediate basis if necessary.
(b) "Indirect supervision" means there is no
licensed veterinarian on the premises of the animal treatment facility, but a
licensed veterinarian has given written or oral instructions for treatment of
the animal patients involved and has arranged for telephone consultation with a
licensed veterinarian, if necessary.
(c) "Permittee" means a person holding a
temporary permit pursuant to
RSA 332-B:12. A
permittee is not a "licensed veterinarian" for purposes of these
rules.
