N.H. Code Admin. R. Frl 602.05 - License Required
Any funeral service, shipping service, direct disposition service, trade service, or any service which prepares dead human bodies for final disposition, shall be licensed as a funeral home. Nothing herein contained shall be construed or interpreted to prohibit the practice of funeral directing and embalming by more than one funeral home from the same physical location. Licensed funeral directors or licensed embalmers leasing space in a licensed funeral home, but providing funeral service independently as a separate business, shall be engaged in the operation of a separate and distinct funeral home, and therefore shall obtain a funeral home license and shall be subject to inspection as required under Frl 603.01.
