N.J. Admin. Code § 7:14A-9.1 - Scope and purpose
(a) This subchapter
establishes the requirements for conducting ground water monitoring at sanitary
landfills, including design of the ground water monitoring system, sampling,
parameters and frequency of analyses, evaluation of data, recordkeeping and
reporting.
(b) It is essential that the
monitoring program provide adequate data over a sufficient period of time to
accurately represent conditions and variations of background ground water quality
and the hydrologic characteristic of the sanitary landfill. It is essential that the
monitoring program be sufficient to ensure protection of ground water
resources.
