(a) Localities
receiving State aid for vector surveillance and/or control will be subject to
unannounced, onsite monitoring by New York State Department of Health
personnel. Localities applying pesticide will be monitored more actively than
those areas only engaging in surveillance.
(b) Localities conducting vector control
activities shall provide to the department information used to monitor and
evaluate the effectiveness of each control activity. Such information shall be
submitted to the department as part of the locality's monthly report in the
format described in the response protocols.
