N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 10 § 441.104 - Emergency outpatient
An emergency outpatient is one who is admitted to the emergency, accident or equivalent service of the hospital for the diagnosis and/or treatment of a condition. The service is one operated pursuant to section 405.1033 of this subchapter.
