N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 22 § 210.43 - Powers of clerks
In accordance with UCCA 105(a), the following shall each have the power to administer oaths, take acknowledgments and sign the process or mandate of the court:
(a) clerks;
(b) deputy clerks;
(c) assistant clerks;
(d) any other nonjudicial person
designated by order of the Chief Administrator of the Courts.
