10A N.C. Admin. Code 09 .0403 - TEMPORARY LICENSES FOR CENTERS
(a)
When an operator proposes to open a new center or to change the ownership or
location of an existing center, the Division shall issue the operator a
temporary license upon the receipt of a license application pursuant to
10A NCAC
09.0204 or
09.0204 .0302 and the documents
specified in
10A NCAC
09.0301 and
09.0301 .0302.
(b) The temporary license shall be posted in
a prominent place in the center that parents are able to view daily.
(c) The temporary license shall remain in
effect for six months or until the issuance of a star-rated license, a special
provisional license, provisional license, probationary license, summary
suspension, suspension, or a denial of a rated license to the
operator.
