Ohio Admin. Code 3357:15-13-07 - Grading system

Letter grades are used by the faculty member assigned to the course to indicate the student's performance. The grades shall be in accordance with the standards of expected achievement of the course and the college. The student's grade point average is computed by the following formula: total quality points earned divided by grade point average (GPA) earned hours. Programs requesting a variance from the established numerical range for each letter grade must follow the shared governance approval process outlined in the 3357:15-13-38 departmental academic policy of the Administrative Code.
