Ohio Admin. Code 3745-273-11 - Prohibitions- standards for small quantity handlers of universal waste
A small quantity handler of universal waste is:
(A) Prohibited from disposing of universal
waste; and
(B) Prohibited from
diluting or treating universal waste, except:
(1) By responding to releases as provided in
rule
3745-273-17
of the Administrative Code; or
(2)
By managing specific wastes as provided in rule
3745-273-13
of the Administrative Code.

This rule is promulgated so that Ohio may administer a hazardous waste program as required by Section 6926 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act ( 42 U.S.C. Section 6901 ET SEQ.) and federal regulations promulgated thereunder ( 40 C.F.R. Part 271 )
