Ohio Admin. Code 4123-6-46 - Standardized or negotiated payment rates for services or supplies
(A) The bureau or
self-insuring employer may negotiate payment rates with health care providers
for services and supplies provided in the treatment of workers' compensation
claims.
(B) The bureau or
self-insuring employer may enter into volume-based or
optional-use contracts with medical providers for services including, but
not limited to, the purchase or rental of durable medical equipment and
supplies and catastrophic claim
services.
(C) The bureau or
self-insuring employer may inform injured workers of the availability of
services, supplies, or equipment from particular health care providers with
whom a contract for services or supplies, a negotiated payment rate for
services or supplies, or a contract for cost-effective payment levels or rates
has been entered into, so long as access to quality and convenient medical
services or supplies for injured workers is maintained.
