Ohio Admin. Code 4141-27-05 - Time limitation for filing claim for benefits within the benefit year
(A) When
a benefit year has been established and a claim for benefits is filed for a
week of total or partial unemployment, to be valid, the claim must be filed not
later than the end of the third calendar week immediately following such
week.
(B) In exceptional cases,
when it is shown to the satisfaction of the director that an individual has
been deterred by circumstances beyond the individual's control from filing a
claim as prescribed in this rule, the director may extend the time limitations
to file.
