Ohio Admin. Code 4501-39-04 - Lamps, reflectors for animal-drawn vehicle

As set forth in section 4513.11 of the Revised Code which refers to section 4513.03 of the Revised Code, this rule provides standards for lamps and reflectors on animal-drawn vehicles.

(A) Lamps
(1) Lamp(s) to the rear:
(a) Lamp(s) shall be red in color when illuminated.
(b) The tail lamp(s) shall be visible from a distance of not less than one thousand feet to the rear of the vehicle.
(2) Lamp to the front:
(a) Lamp shall be white in color when illuminated.
(b) White lamp shall be visible from a distance of not less than one thousand feet to the front of the vehicle.
(B) Reflectors

If only one lamp to the rear is used, there shall be two red reflectors visible from all distances of six hundred feet to one hundred feet to the rear when illuminated by the lawful lower beams of headlamps.
