Ohio Admin. Code 4766-5-13 - Staffing compliance

All AMSOs must comply with the staffing requirements under section 4766.17 of the Revised Code.

(A) All AMSOs must comply with the staffing requirements under section 4766.17 of the Revised Code.
(A) (B) An AMSO, licensed under this chapter, that operates a permitted rotorcraft or fixed wing air ambulance shall staff the aircraft with, at a minimum, a physician who holds a current and valid license issued under Chapter 4731. of the Revised Code or a registered nurse who holds a current and valid license issued under Chapter 4723. of the Revised Code, and a paramedic or one other person, designated by the medical director of the AMSO, who holds a current and valid certificate or license to practice a health care profession in this state.
(B) (C) An AMSO, licensed under this chapter, that operates a permitted rotorcraft or fixed wing air ambulance shall employ as a medical director an individual who holds a current and valid license issued under Chapter 4731. of the Revised Code authorizing the practice of medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery.
