Executive Order 2021-8

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021, to honor the life and service of Kyle Jeffrey Davis. A resident of Copan, Oklahoma, Kyle died March 25, 2021, while serving in the line of duty for the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Kyle's exemplary service to the Washington County Sheriff's Department and our state will not be forgotten. Sadly, Kyle leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Kristin, and children, Seth and Pearl. A celebration of Kyle's life is scheduled for April 2, 2021, at the Copan Gymnasium with interment at the Dewey Cemetery.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on this 1 st day of April, 2021.
