Okla. Admin. Code § 210:20-29-1 - Purpose
(a) The standards of conduct for teachers in
this Subchapter are adopted pursuant to HB 1017, 70 O.S. Supp. 1990 §
6-101.21 and 6-101.22.
(b) Teachers
are charged with the education of the youth of this State. In order to perform
effectively, teachers must demonstrate a belief in the worth and dignity of
each human being, recognizing the supreme importance of the pursuit of truth,
devotion to excellence, and the nurture of democratic principles.
