Title 92 - Oklahoma State Athletic Commission

Effective 7-1-08, the name of the Oklahoma Professional Boxing Commission was changed to the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission. [See HB 3070 (2008)]

Effective 7-1-99, the "power and duty to promulgate . . . rules necessary to implement the provisions of the Oklahoma Professional Boxing Licensing Act" [3A O.S.Supp.1999, §603(A)] was transferred from the Commissioner of Labor to the newly-created Oklahoma Professional Boxing Commission. Rules promulgated by the Commissioner of Labor at OAC 380:65 prior to July 1, 1999 were considered to be the rules of the Commission until rules were promulgated by the Commission.
