Or. Admin. R. 859-200-0025 - Responsibilities of the PSRB regarding Extremely Dangerous Persons with Mental Illness Civil Commitments
The Board shall have as its primary concern the protection of society. In addition, the Board's responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
(1) Holding hearings, as
required by law, to determine the appropriate residential placement of persons
under its jurisdiction;
(2)
Overseeing the supervision of persons placed on conditional release in the
community, including approving conditional release and modifying conditional
release plans, as appropriate; and
(3) Facilitating the certification process at
the end of the civil commitment period.
