Or. Admin. R. 859-200-0115 - Waiver of Appearance at Hearings
(1) An extremely dangerous person with mental
illness may waive appearance at an initial hearing or certification hearing.
The Board will still hold the hearing in the person's absence.
(2) An extremely dangerous person with mental
illness may not waive appearance at a conditional release hearing. If a person
does not attend a conditional release hearing, the Board will cancel the
hearing and will not consider the conditional release.
