7 Pa. Code § 71.11 - Directions for use and precautionary statements
(a) Directions for use and precautionary
statements on the labeling of all commercial feeds and customer-formula feeds
containing additives including drugs, special purpose additives or nonnutritive
additives shall:
(1) be adequate to permit
safe and effective use for the intended purposes by users with no special
knowledge of the purpose and use of such articles; and
(b) Adequate directions for use and
precautionary statements are required for feeds containing nonprotein nitrogen
as specified in §
71.7 (relating to nonprotein
nitrogen).
(c) Adequate directions
for use and precautionary statements necessary for safe and effective use are
required on commercial feeds distributed to supply particular dietary needs or
for supplementing or fortifying the usual diet or ration with any vitamin,
mineral or other dietary nutrient or compound.
