S.C. Code Regs. 121-8.15 - Blow-out Prevention
Adequate blow-out preventers and high pressure fittings for keeping the well under control shall be attached to properly anchored and cemented casing strings. The blow-out preventers must meet the approval of the Commission and shall be tested regularly unless such approval has been waived by the Commission, and the results recorded in the driller's log.
