S.C. Code Regs. § 20-27.81 - Investigations and Hearings Held by Commission
(1) Any designated representative of the
Commission may make investigations. The Commission may hold hearings and issue
subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses.
(2) The Commission also may order production
of books, papers, reports, or records needed for any hearing.
(3) When the hearing takes place, any
Commissioner may administer oaths to and examine any witnesses for the purpose
of clarifying the questions for which the hearing was called.
