S.C. Code Regs. 20-5.2 - Age
1. The minimum and
maximum ages for professional boxing in South Carolina are eighteen to forty
(18 -40) years old. The maximum age may be waived by the Commission designee
for a specific contestant. A professional boxer petitioning for an age waiver
must submit a complete application along with all medical records, official
fight records and any other documentation required by the Commission to the
Administrator at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled bout. A waiver
to participate as an over-age contestant shall be valid for the duration of the
current licensure period.
