S.C. Code Regs. 67-1301 - Medical Reports
A. A
medical practitioner or treatment facility shall furnish upon request all
medical information relevant to the employee's complaint of injury to the
claimant, the employer, the employer's representative, or the Commission.
Payment for services rendered may be withheld from any medical practitioner or
treatment facility who fails to comply with a request for this
information.
B. The employer's
representative shall submit to the Commission a report indicating the
claimant's final rating of permanent impairment.
C. A health care facility and a health care
provider may charge a fee for the search and duplication of a medical record
not to exceed the fee published in the Medical Services Provider
Manual.
