S.D. Admin. R. 44:05:02:04 - Licensing of ambulance service from another state - Fee

A ground or air ambulance operator based in a state other than South Dakota whose service receives requests for patient transport within South Dakota must apply for and receive a South Dakota ambulance license before providing such service. The application must be made in accordance with this article. A fee of $12 must accompany the application. The license expires on July 1 of even-numbered years and may be renewed every two years. The department may revoke or suspend the license for violations of applicable statutes or rules. Procedures for revocation or suspension of a license shall follow ยง 44:05:02:13.
