Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0400-46-02-.01 - PURPOSE AND POLICY
The primary purpose of these rules is to provide financial assistance to municipalities to plan, design and construct wastewater treatment works. Such assistance shall be provided in order to meet the requirements of state laws to protect public health and water quality throughout the State of Tennessee. It is further intended that such assistance be coordinated with other state and federal programs of loans or grants for the construction of wastewater treatment works.
