Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0690-02-01-.13 - TRANSFER TO OTHER STATE AGENCIES

(1) All State agencies shall make every reasonable effort to utilize surplus property that is available from the State Personal Property Utilization Division.
(2) Items determined as having value for transfer to other State agencies shall be listed on a report included in the monthly distribution to all State agencies.
(3) State agencies shall have priority to acquire surplus property by transfer from other State agencies.
(4) The State Personal Property Utilization Division shall determine as soon as possible after the property is declared surplus some point for transfer and relieve the surplusing agency of jurisdiction and accountability.
(5) After a reasonable time, if no interest is developed from State agencies, the State Personal Property Utilization Division shall then proceed to dispose of the property in the manner determined to be in the best interest of the State by one of the methods set out in rule 0690-2-1-.03 of this chapter.
