Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1640-01-26-.12 - TENNESSEE PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP REFORMS

(1) In the event funds are insufficient to fully fund the cost of Tennessee Promise scholarships, TSAC is authorized to take one or more of the following actions:

(a) Establish a maximum award amount,

(b) Establish additional eligibility criteria for new applicants entering the program,

(c) Administer the program on a first-come, first-served basis.

(2) Any action taken by TSAC as described in subsection (1) of this Rule shall require approval by TSAC's Board of Directors and notification shall be provided to the chairs of the Senate and House Education Committees of the Tennessee General Assembly.
