22 Tex. Admin. Code § 810.33 - Destruction of Criminal History Records

In accordance with approved records retention schedules, the council shall destroy conviction/adjudication information relating to a person after the council makes a decision on the eligibility of the applicant unless the information was the basis for a proposed denial, revocation, suspension, or refusal to renew a person's license. The council shall destroy the information provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Federal Bureau of Investigation or any other law enforcement agency. In the event that information is collected online, all files created will be destroyed in the aforementioned timeframe.
