Utah Admin. Code R307-801-16 - Certified Renovator Work Practices
(1) Certified renovators are responsible for
ensuring compliance with R307-801 at all renovation projects at regulated
facilities to which they are assigned.
(2) Certified renovators working at regulated
facilities shall:
(a) Perform all of the
tasks described in
R307-801-13(3)
and shall either perform or direct workers who perform all tasks described in
R307-801-13(3);
(b) Provide training to workers on
the work practices required by
R307-801-13(3)
that will be used when performing renovation projects;
(c) Be physically present at the work site
when all work activities required by
R307-801-13(3)(b)
are posted, while the work area containment required by
R307-801-13(3)(b)
is being established, and while the work area cleaning required by
R307-801-13(3)(i)
is performed;
(d) Be on-site and
direct work being performed by other individuals to ensure that the work
practices required by
R307-801-13(3)
are being followed, including maintaining the integrity of the containment
barriers and ensuring that dust or debris does not spread beyond the work area;
(e) Have with them at the work
site their current Utah Renovator certification card; and
(f) Prepare the records required by
R307-801-15.
