TAGGING, TURKEY, DEER, BEAR
Any tag attached to the carcass that is not adhered or any tag attached to the carcass that is altered in any manner shall be prima facie evidence that the animal is not tagged.
If an individual has purchased more than one license a turkey will be tagged only with the tag bearing the number corresponding with the latest issued license or certificate. The use of any previously issued tags will constitute prima facie evidence that the animal is not tagged.
Any tag attached to the carcass that is not locked or any tag attached to the carcass that is altered in any manner shall be prima facie evidence that the animal is not tagged.
If an individual has purchased more than one license a deer will be tagged only with the tag bearing the number corresponding with the latest issued license or certificate. The use of any previously issued tags will constitute prima facie evidence that the animal is not tagged.
A person holding a permanent license as defined by Section 4255(b) or a person holding a paraplegic license as defined by Section 4276 shall immediately detach the deer tag from their license and affix the tag securely to the deer where it shall remain during transportation and possession and until such time as the deer is cut up for consumption.
