12 Va. Admin. Code § 5-630-420 - Observation, monitoring, and remediation wells
A. Except as provided in subsections B and C
of this section, observation and monitoring wells are exempted from this
chapter.
B. Observation or
monitoring wells shall be constructed in accordance with the requirements for
private wells if they are to remain in service after the completion of the
ground water study.
C. Observation
or monitoring wells shall be properly abandoned in accordance with
12VAC5-630-450 within 90 days of
cessation of use.
