6 Va. Admin. Code § 35-101-150 - Qualifications
A. Detention
centers subject to (i) the rules and regulations of the governing authority or
(ii) the rules and regulations of a local government personnel office shall
develop written minimum entry-level qualifications in accordance with the rules
and regulations of the supervising personnel authority. Detention centers not
subject to rules and regulations of the governing authority or a local
government personnel office shall follow the minimum entry-level qualifications
of the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management.
B. When services or consultations are
obtained on a contractual basis, they shall be provided by professionally
qualified personnel.
