8 Va. Admin. Code § 20-671-240 - Insurance
A. The licensee
shall maintain liability insurance covering the premises and the school's
operation.
B. The licensee shall
maintain liability insurance on all vehicles used to transport students,
including vehicles owned by staff. The school shall obtain written consent from
the parent to transport a student in a staff member's personal vehicle.
C. The members of the governing
body and staff who are authorized to handle school or student funds shall be
bonded or indemnified against employee dishonesty .
