Wash. Admin. Code § 110-147-1700 - What steps must I take to place a child for adoption?
(1) Your staff must
prepare the adoptive parent(s) for placement of a specific child by:
(a) Locating and providing information about
the child and the birth family to the prospective adoptive family provided
under the federal and state statute; and
(b) Developing a transition plan for the
child into the family, including preparing for adjustment issues, given the
child's background.
(2)
You must file preplacement (home study) reports with the court as required by
RCW
26.33.180 through
26.33.190.
