Wash. Admin. Code § 110-147-1705 - What requirements must I meet to provide specialized adoption services?
(1) Specialized
adoptive services are intercountry adoption, interstate adoption and adoptions
for children with special needs such as intellectual and developmental
disabilities or emotional disabilities.
(2) If your agency is providing specialized
adoptive services, you must have supervisory staff with specialized training in
the particular area of adoption that you want to provide.
(3) If you are facilitating the adoptive
placement of children who have special needs, you must have adoptive families
who are able to meet the children's special needs, such as behavioral
disturbance, medical problems or intellectual and developmental
disabilities.
