Wash. Admin. Code § 296-304-06007 - Work in confined or isolated spaces

When any work is performed in a confined space, except as provided in WAC 296-304-04001(2)(c), or when an employee is working alone in an isolated location, the employee must be checked, by sight or verbal communication:

(1) Throughout each workshift at regular intervals appropriate to the job assignment to ensure the employee's safety and health; and

(2) At the end of the job assignment or at the end of the workshift, whichever occurs first.
