Wash. Admin. Code § 357-19-535 - Are an employee's return-to-work opportunities limited to the agency or institution/related board which was the employer at the time of the qualifying injury?
Permanent state employees who are receiving compensation under RCW 51.32.090 for a temporary disability are eligible to participate in agency or institution/related board return-to-work programs statewide when appropriate job classifications are not available with the employer that was the appointing authority at the time of qualifying injury. Employers must coordinate and cooperate with one another to provide return-to-work opportunities on a statewide basis.
