W. Va. Code R. § 112-5-1 - General
1.1. Scope. --
This rule implements the provisions of West Virginia Code §
36-8-1, et seq., relating to the
Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, and the provisions of West Virginia Code §
37B-2-1, et seq., relating to the
Unknown and Unlocatable Interest Owners Act.
1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code §
36-8-28; W.Va. Code §
37B-2-7.
1.3. Filing Date. -- April 4, 2024
1.4. Effective Date. -- May 1, 2024
1.5. Sunset Provision. -- This rule shall
terminate and have no further force or effect on August 1, 2029.
