W. Va. Code R. § 114-40-1 - General
1.1. Scope. -- This
legislative rule establishes the standards and procedural requirements which
the commissioner considers necessary to carry out the provision of W. Va. Code
§
33-4-15a
dealing with credit for reinsurance. The actions and information required by
this rule are declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest
and for the protection of the ceding insurers in this state.
1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code §§
33-2-10 and
33-4-15a(e).
1.3. Filing Date. -- April 12,
2021.
1.4. Effective Date. -- July
1, 2021.
1.5. Sunset Provision. --
This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect upon August 1,
2026.
