2.1. The West
Virginia Board of Education recognizes the pluralistic nature of American
Society.
2.2. Minority and ethnic
group contributions are an inextricable part of the total growth and
development of this nation.
2.3.
Education must perpetuate these contributions as an essential part of the
American heritage.
