048-40 Wyo. Code R. §§ 40-2 - Purpose and Applicability
(a) This Chapter shall apply to and govern
the furnishing of inpatient psychiatric services for individuals under age
twenty-one (21) in psychiatric residential treatment facilities (PRTFs) as
defined by 42 C.F.R. §
483.354.
(b) The Department may issue manuals and
bulletins to providers and other affected parties to interpret the provisions
of this Chapter. Such manuals and bulletins shall be consistent with and
reflect the policies contained in this Chapter. The provisions contained in
manuals and bulletins shall be subordinate to the provisions of this
Chapter.
