Regulations to Prohibit Abandonment
Pub. L. 117–263, div. A, title III, § 382(e), Dec. 23, 2022, 136 Stat. 2543, provided that:
“Not later than two years after the date of the enactment of this Act [Dec. 23, 2022], the Secretary of Defense shall issue regulations to prohibit the abandonment of military working dogs used in support of a military operation outside of the continental United States.”
