A shareholder meeting is a required meeting held by the shareholders of a company to discuss the arrangements of the company or to vote in the election of board members. The shareholders should participate in the meeting in person; however, shareholders or proxy holders who are unable to be physically present may vote remotely. The board of directors may determine the location if it is not designated by the manner of the company or bylaws.
