Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 51111 - Inpatient Hospital Services
"Inpatient Hospital Services" include the following services furnished by a hospital:
(a)
Bed and board;
(b) Nursing and
related services, use of hospital facilities, medical social services
ordinarily furnished by the hospital, and such drugs, biologicals, supplies,
appliances and equipment, as are ordinarily furnished by the
hospital;
(c) Other diagnostic and
therapeutic services ordinarily furnished by the hospital, exclusive of
physicians' services;
(d) Medical
and surgical services performed by interns and residents-in-training, as
defined in Section
1861(b) of Title
XVIII of the Federal Social Security Act; and
(e) Administrative services performed by
physicians for the hospital.
