Conn. Agencies Regs. § 25-128-37 - Manner of construction
(a) The
construction of any well or geothermal bore hole shall be planned and carried
out in a manner to guard against waste and contamination of Groundwater
resources.
(b) Standing column
wells shall not be configured to be used concurrently as a potable water supply
and a geothermal heating or cooling source. Any dual-use wells existing on or
before the effective date of this subsection may remain active and shall be
properly maintained.
